Fun to see the final cover of a book I developed concepts for last fall.

Available later this year is When Lightning Strikes by NY Times & USA Today Bestselling author Brenda Novak. She writes a great escape read.

Here is the final concept that was approved by Harlequin. I also designed the author type treatment to span across a new upcoming series of books for Brenda.

The umbrella and some of the posing was also drawn from this concept which was in the running:

Parallel coffee

I had to give up coffee a few months ago (miss it everyday) but still pop into Darkhorse whenever I can. Usually on my way to visit my favourite store, Love the Design.

I spotted gorgeous packaging on some coffee on display by 49th Parallel coffee.

A visit to their website had me in love with their retro-inspired ceramics in a happy-go-lucky turquoise.
